Lockout or Not, Fantasy Football Season Starts Now

Some may say it's too early. Some may say it's not worth the effort because there hasn't even been a free agent period. Well, they may be right. If they are, then I'll just have to make another blog when the time is right for them. But I've always said that in order to be good in fantasy football, to win consistantly, you have to keep up. You have to stay on it. You have to be addicted. And chances are if your reading this, you either know me personally or your addicted to fantasy football.

My reasoning in starting this blog isn't to boost my ego when it comes to fantasy football. I feel that people who go on saying "I won this league.... I won this much money" come off as jerks and not someone that I would make a point to read up on every week. I want to be a guy thats enjoyable, yet helpful to read. And believe me, if I'm wrong on a player or a play for a certain week, I'll be the first to admit. Hell, I took Justin Forsett in the 5th round figuring Pete Carroll knew how to use a running back or two (Reggie Bush, Lendale White). Boy was I off on that. But that same draft I also jumped on the LaDanianTomlinson bandwagon before anyone (8th round). Sometimes you have to just trust in a players history, situation they are in and the talent around them. But enough about last year. That was then and this is now.

This year will be different then others. The lockout is stopping a lot of things that in any other normal year is already done. There will be pleanty of moves made through free agency, whenever the hell that it. There will be trades, rookie free agent signings and rookie hold outs. All of these can affect a mock draft or pre draft rankings. So, until there are changes in the NFL with the CBA, all my rankings will be based on rosters as is.

For now, I will just post a quick top 10 of the four main positions and as the days and weeks go by, I will post in depth blogs on all positions going in the order of: QB, RB, WR, TE, DEF, K
